What's new in Linqry

User-visible changes, newest first.

  1. September 1, 2026v0.3.0

Docs, releases & a versioned product

    • Documentation grew into a full section — installation, custom events, revenue tracking, an HTTP API reference, sharing, self-hosting and privacy each have their own page.
    • The server-side /api/track endpoint now accepts the documented friendly field names (siteId, event, properties, revenue) alongside the compact wire format.
    • Proper release management: versioned releases with a public CHANGELOG, tagged GitHub Releases, and CI that typechecks, tests and builds every change.
    • New feature pages for realtime and the SEO auditor, plus llms.txt for AI crawlers and a fuller sitemap. (A retention page shipped in this release and was retired on 2026-09-05 with the widget it described.)
  2. August 24, 2026

    Credibility, security & SEO foundation

    • Published the full marketing site as real routes — /pricing, /docs, /features, /faq, /self-hosting — each with canonical URLs, Open Graph cards and structured data.
    • Added sourced comparison pages against GA4, Plausible, PostHog and Fathom. Every competitor claim carries a dated citation.
    • Added the MIT LICENSE file and declared the license in package.json.
    • Stopped tracking .env in git and added secret scanning to CI.
    • Added robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and dynamic OG images for every marketing route.
  3. August 12, 2026

    Test coverage

    • Comprehensive tests for site members and the SEO auditor routes.
    • Documented E2E test prerequisites (Postgres, running app, APP_URL override).
  4. June 17, 2026

    OAuth sign-in

    • Sign in with Google and GitHub, alongside email/password.
    • Error monitoring with Sentry across client, server and edge.
  5. June 12, 2026

    Advanced SEO auditor

    • Per-URL analysis: titles, meta, redirects, broken links, page scores.
    • Split sitemap-based and crawler-based auditing into separate flows.
  6. May 31, 2026v0.2.0

    Linqry

    • Renamed to Linqry and moved to linqry.com.
    • Shared site navigation and a deploy version badge so you can see exactly what's running.
  7. May 5, 2026v0.1.0

    Billing & admin

    • Per-site billing at $5/month with Razorpay.
    • Pricing on the landing page and billing status inside the dashboard.
    • Admin panel split into its own service.
  8. May 4, 2026

    Realtime globe & geography

    • New realtime globe visualisation of live visitors.
    • Country, region and city resolution for every event, self-hosted via geoip-lite — no third-party lookup service.
  9. April 29, 2026

    First commit

    • Project started: cookieless tracker, event ingestion into Postgres, and the first dashboard.
